Breakfast at Amélie's
Dating a photographer opens like fifty-leven doors when it comes to my serendipities. I get to go on a ton of trips, network with fantastic individuals and embark on new adventures all the time. Not to mention, he takes all of the pictures while we're there. #GetYouAReko.
I probably don't even have to mention that he's smiling right now.
Anyway, our most recent serendipity took us to Charlotte and so I had to share my newest favorite place.
Amélie's French Bakery & Café was the highlight of the whole ordeal. It's so quaint and cozy. You can choose your seating, none of which are the same, and drink coffee or eat croissants while looking out at the Charlotte streets. Super on brand.
I'm a sucker for a good Sunday breakfast in Charlotte, so it was a nice surprise to see a place that served breakfast sandwiches, holiday coffee, and mimosas all in the same space.
My favorite part was the environment. Everyone was warm and inviting, the seating was charming, and the decor was gorgeous.
Their chai cremé could give Starbucks a run for their money too. It's the perfect place to go alone or with a friend for a quick serendipity in Uptown. Next time you're in Charlotte be sure to swing by and hang for a while!
